In 2016 Discipling the New Generations Faith Project was launched for the South American Division. Four leadership teams consisting of students, parents, teachers, pastors and principals met twice for training in how to partner to disciple the children and youth through the home, school and church. This was a pioneering project and the third and fourth training sessions were conducted in January and April in Brasilia, Brazil in 2017.
