Matthew 7:7-8

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us on our contact form below if you cannot find an answer to your question.

For those in the USA and Canada, you can order physical copies of available books at this link. We do ask you to cover shipping expenses, however Don does not charge for any of his books. They are a gift to YOU, printed and given sacrificially, for the glory of God.

Book orders are processed through College Press and sometimes things go slow due to the volume of requests that come in. It may take 5-10 business days before they will be shipped. We are not in control of this process, so please be patient and understanding with the team at College Press. Again, if you are in a hurry, all Don's books are freely available for download on this website.

Absolutely! Please send us a message on the contact form and let us know what you are wanting to translate, and what conference, union, or division  you represent, as translation may already be in process in your region.

You can use the "Contact Us Form" here to reach out to him. This website is managed by In Discipleship volunteers, and not by Don personally, however, we will share your message with Pastor Don. He and April pray over every invitation they receive. Keep in mind he is usually scheduled out for a year or more in advance, so his schedule is tight. Because of the increasing speaking and training demands, he is sending out more and more of his team and volunteers to assist with needs and commitments he cannot take around the world. His team is fully equipped, experienced, and faith-filled. They are a blessing everywhere they go. So if you are willing to accept a team member in Don's place, we may be able to accommodate your speaking request sooner rather than later.

These are both found in The Way Back to the Altar: How to Live Daily as a Disciple of Jesus. The "Five Steps to Being Baptized by the Holy Spirit" are found on page 40. The "Five Steps to Knowing God's Will for Your Life" are found on pages 65-71, and pages 88-90. The link for The Way Back to the Altar is here!

The Way Back to the Altar revival series is printed by the General Conference, so we do not carry a large quantity of these books to give away. However, you can download The Way Back to the Altar manual from this link, or visit the "Books" page on this website, to download in the additional languages of Russian, Spanish, French and Swahili. If you wish to order physical copies, please contact the GC Ministerial Association, in Silver Spring, Maryland.

By faith and trust in God! Either God is who He says He is, or He's not. Don and April, as well as their team, are learning by experience that they can trust God. His Word is true, and He knows how to send provisions to His children just like He does to the sparrows... Phil. 4:19

If you want more faith, the Bible tells us, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." (Rom. 10:17) We grow our faith by immersing ourselves in the Word, and by walking daily with Jesus! Our faith in God increases as we immediately obey His Word WHEN the Holy Spirit convicts us! Also, we grow stronger by enduring the trials that come by continuing to trust God...even when we don't understand His plan! The Bible tells us, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have still believed" (John 20:29).

Jesus asked His disciples the piercing question, "When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8

To help grow your faith journey, we suggest you do a simple Bible study on faith. Look up the stories of key Bible figures and discover how they responded to God and His Word. (These are not perfect examples, but we can learn so much from the lives of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Gideon, Elijah, Daniel, Ruth, Esther, Paul, etc.)

Another faith building exercise is to find all the times in the Bible where the word "Faith" is used. These Bible references will provide great encouragement for your faith journey!

If you want to hear God's voice, spend unrushed time daily in His presence. As Don often shares, he does not hear an audible voice from heaven. God speaks to his mind and heart, and everything he hears from God he tests and confirms by the written Word of God.

God is just waiting to speak to us as well, but the reality is that many of us are not hearing God's voice because we are NOT really listening. We are in too big of a hurry to be in tune, to hear His gentle whisper. However, the more unrushed time we spend with Jesus each day, the more we will recognize and hear His voice. And the more quickly we obey what He asks us to do, the more He will speak. The Bible says, "Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know" (Jer. 33:3).  It also tells us, "If you seek me you will find me when you search for me with ALL your heart" (Jer. 29:13).

More promises to claim on hearing the voice of God and trusting Him to direct our footsteps are: Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 30:21, and Psalm 32:8. Let us not forget about the prophet Elijah who was so in tune to God's voice that he immediately obeyed whatever God asked him to do. (See 1 Kings 17-19.) The more we obey what God tells us to do, the more He will continue to speak to our hearts.

To take this topic deeper, we highly recommend you read "God Still Lives" if you haven't already, or "How to Hear God's Voice" on the Article tab of this website.

In Discipleship does not charge for any instruction or training given. The Bible tells us, "Freely you have received, freely give!" (See Matthew 10:8.) We also do not charge for any books or resources, or for the meals we serve. Some venue owners, where we hold our discipleship trainings, generously donate lodging, but other places attendees will need to be responsible for their own lodging and accommodations. If you have questions about an upcoming event, just ask.

YES, all donations are tax-deductible. Please include your mailing address and details so we can send you a receipt when you make your donation. Love gifts are always received joyfully as it is these sacrificial gifts God uses to help the ministry continue moving forward.

As already stated, we have no paid staff or paid positions, but we are grateful for a network of volunteers who work in many places sharing these simple tools of discipleship. If you would like to be a volunteer, we encourage you to make time to attend one of our Discipleship or Elijah revival events. Once you've experienced for yourself what God is doing, you will be more equipped to pass this blessing on to others, or to assist us in the ministry.
